K-State Sports on US-103
The Cumulus Broadcast Center in Downtown Topeka and K-State Sports Properties today announced a new radio network affiliate agreement for the 2009 through 2011 seasons. Kansas State football and men's basketball will now be heard on US-103 KQTP-FM 102.9. K-State baseball and women’s basketball will be broadcast on 1490 ESPN KTOP. US-103 will also carry the coach’s shows for both football and men's basketball.

“We’re really excited with our new agreement”. Cumulus Senior Vice President Spike Santee said when making the announcement. “We want to be involved with Kansas State right now because we want to be the positive voice for K-State in the Topeka and Shawnee County area. This is an exciting time for the University and the Athletic Program”.

Santee added that all six of the Radio stations at the Cumulus Broadcast Center in Downtown Topeka would carry positive stories about events and activities at Kansas State throughout the terms of the broadcast agreement.

Cumulus Media, Inc. is the second largest Radio broadcast company in the United States based on the number of Radio stations owned or operated, with 375 Radio stations in 67 markets.
